Important points of Uday Samant's press conference held yesterday: -
2) The decisions of the students of all the years except the first year, the second year i.e. the final year are decided by each university first.
3) Only 1 general rule has been announced yesterday. In it, they have asked to take the practical exam from September 15 to 30 through online skype, Google meet, or mobile phone.
4) The examinations of all the subjects have been ordered to be held from 1st to 31st October.
5) New admission process will start from 21st November.
6) Online tuition will be started from 10th November
7) Each university can take the exam in any of the following ways.
1) Online Open Book Exam
2) Assignment based exams
3) MCQ Types exam
The university can choose any of the above. And they will inform the state government about the chosen method by Monday or Tuesday.
8) The duration of the examination has been reduced from 3 hours. The exam will now be for 1 hour only.
9) 50 marks out of 100 marks is Internal which means Viva and Practical Exam. And the remaining 50 marks are the main exam from the above 3 options i.e. External.
10) How to take MCQ exam. - The exam will be for 1 hour.
- There will be 60 questions in the exam, out of which 50 questions will be solved.
- Each question will be of 1 mark
- Online exam will be in protected mode. This means that once the test is started, you will not be able to close that window.
All the above rules will be applicable if the university conducts the examination by MCQ method. The university can decide for itself which of the above 3 methods to take the exam.
11) Something else but the method of examination is not decided. Each university will inform the state government on Monday or Tuesday about the method of conducting its examination.
